Come join us for the Kuskokwim Science & Culture Camp!!!

Program Location: Bethel, Alaska

Eligible Students: Current 8-12th Grade Lower Kuskokwim School District Students

Program Details: Come spend time with us at the Bethel-based Science & Culture Camp where will you gain exposure to fisheries & wildlife careers and gain new knowledge and skills in the biological sciences. Join Elders as they share their knowledge on traditional and medicinal uses of plants. You will also spend time on the river fishing and at fish camp assisting with fish processing and net mending, while learning more about traditional and western ways of monitoring and managing natural resources. Evening activities may be spent playing outdoor sports, at the local cinema, Yukon-Kuskokwim Fitness Center, on the tundra or river, roasting s’mores by the fire and team-building. This camp also includes a day trip to the Kwethluk River Weir. All program costs are free!
