POSITION: 4-6 Full-time Subsistence Fishery Technicians
LOCATION: This position will be based in Bethel, Alaska.
EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Full-time, Seasonal. Part-time positions may be available.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Conduct post season subsistence harvest surveys with households in the Bethel area. Surveyors will begin training the second week of October.
JOB DURATION: 3-6 weeks beginning October 5
QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a valid driver’s license. Minimum of 16 years of age, good physical condition, good verbal and written communication skills. Must be willing to work odd hours, evenings and weekends to achieve work objectives in a timely fashion. Bilingual speakers (English/Yup’ik) are highly desired.
SALARY: $15-$20/hr. DOE, up to 40 hours/week
