ONC Council has approved the distribution of ARPA funds for 2023, effective April 13, 2023. The following information related to this distribution:
DISTRIBUTION AMOUNT: $600.00 direct payment per Tribal member
WHO IS ELIGIBLE: Tribal members enrolled no later than April 14, 2023 who have experienced negative economic impacts as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
APPLICATION DEADLINE: June 30, 2023
APPLICATION PROCESS: Tribal members may,
- Pick up and submit an application at the ONC office.
- Submit your application by mail. Mail to Orutsararmiut Native Council Attn: APRA, Box 927 Bethel, Alaska 99559
- Fax your application to (907) 543-2639
- Submit your application by email at ARPA@nativecouncil.org with 2023 ARPA Application as the email subject line
- Apply online by clicking this 2023 ARPA Application link.
HOW WILL FUNDS BE PAID OUT: Checks will be issued and mailed to Tribal Members who meet the eligibility and application deadline requirements and have submitted a complete application.
WHEN WILL FUNDS BE PAID OUT: Expect payment between 1-2 weeks after your application has been successfully processed. Applications will be processed in the order of the date on which they are received. We kindly ask for your patience as we process these applications as quickly and effectively as possible. We expect a large volume of applications in a short amount of time to assist 3,800 expected members.
In addition to this distribution, ONC has issued three previous distributions of American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds to Tribal members for the same purpose.
