The ONC 2023 Annual Meeting will be Saturday, May 20th, 2023
The Orutsararmiut Native Council hereby notifies its membership that the 2023 Annual Meeting is scheduled for Saturday May 20th, 2023, in Bethel, AK. This event is open to Tribal members ONLY. Additional information about the annual meeting, registration, and voting ballots will be mailed to eligible ONC members.
The year 2023 is an election year for the following 4 eligible seats of the ONC Council:
- Seat A, currently held by Henry Hunter, Sr.
- Seat B, currently held by Walter Jim
- Seat C, currently held by Thaddeus Tikiun
- Seat D, currently held by Gloria Simeon
Tribal members who are interested in serving as Council members must be at least 18 years of age, have resided in Bethel for at least one year, and never been convicted of a felony, can request a Declaration of Candidacy form. Declarations of Candidacy are available at the ONC office, located at 117 Alex Hatley, and must be received at the ONC office by 5:00pm on March 24, 2023.
