Basic Eligibility Requirements:
- Household’s gross income must be at or below 150% of the current Federal Poverty Level
- Must reside in Bethel
- Residents in subsidized housing are not eligible for this benefit (ASHA, AVCP, BNC housing)
Benefits include:
- Heating Assistance – fuel, firewood, electric bill
- Crisis Assistance – households with a shut off notice and/or have less than 5 gallons of heating fuel, have a medical need, homes that have elders 60 years and older as well as children 5 and younger.
- Weatherization – refer to the current Detailed Model Plan for a complete list of the types of assistance we provide for weatherization
Benefit amount may be split up the following ways:
- 100% Fuel
- 100% Electricity
- 50% Fuel – 50% Electricity
- 25% Fuel – 75% Electricity
- 75% Fuel – 25% Electricity
